2017- Present: Senior Game Artist at RedEye Studios

I worked on several well-known IPs at RedEye Studios:

ADVENTURE TIME HEROES

  • 3D Environment artist.

DISNEY EPIC QUEST

  • Concept and Character Artist.

  • Liaised with both Disney and GoGame Malaysia for asset approval and 3D asset creation respectively.

ONE PIECE BOUNTY RUSH

  • Managed a team of interns to create 2D art assets.

2016 - 2017:

CG Generalist at Gazia Games

  • Main responsibility was 3D modelling and texturing of characters and prop assets for Gazia Games.

  • Additional responsibilities of creation 2D Background art and UI art assets.

  • Vetted and managed external contractors for 3D art assets (character and environment), UI Art and UI VFX. 

2015 - 2016:

Background Artist at Delta Duck Studios

  • Main responsibility was creation of 2D Background Art for the upcoming mobile game, Monster Chronicles.

  • Other responsibilities included creation of placeholder UI art assets and preparing of documents to aid in investor/publisher pitch presentations.

2014 - 2015:

Game Artist at SUTD GameLab (Internship)

  • CG generalist intern that handled 2D concept creation, 3D modelling (character and props), character animation, and creation of UI Art Assets for mobile action game prototype, Rocketblade.

Game Artist at SUTD GameLab (Full-Time employment)

  • Was rehired by SUTD GameLab for ReelBlade, an action game that SUTD GameLab was contracted to create by the Keio-NUS CUTE centre.

  • As the sole artist on the team, my role was broadly similar to the one during my internship but with an increased focus on creature design, modelling and animation due to the project spec.

  • Game was winner for Best Technological Game at the Tokyo Game Show SOWN (Sense of Wonder Night) Showcase. Featured in Wired news: http://www.wired.com/2015/09/fishing-sword-transformer/

Ghostlore

Ghostlore is a personal game project that I work on in my free time. It is an action-RPG based on folklore in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
